Wayfinding Talanoa and Wayfinding Kōrero are family conversation cards created by Penina Hitti from her PhD work on positive childhood experiences. They invite children, parents and grandparents to share stories and explore what helps children feel safe, supported and connected.
Developed as a gift for the community at a research reciprocity gathering, the cards are now available as free downloads for families to use at home.
Each pack includes 30 question cards, with three conversation prompts on each card. Simply download, print and cut out the cards—nine cards per A4 page. Choose a card and start a conversation. Everyone is welcome to share, listen or pass.
